HV coil is Vacuum casted with epoxy resin with pressure, capabilities for better the cast without pressure.
Simulating analys is being used in the core model, the resonance can be avoided and the noise is reduced.
Simulation calculation and analysis of lightning impulse wave are applied to HV Coils; anti-lightning impulse capability is improved.
Technical Features
Epoxy Cast Resin Encapsulation – High-voltage and low-voltage windings are fully encapsulated under vacuum with epoxy resin, providing excellent insulation, moisture protection, and mechanical strength.
Fireproof & Self-Extinguishing – Class F or H insulation; self-extinguishing upon flame removal; no fire load, making it ideal for densely populated or high-value areas.
Low Noise Operation – Noise level typically below 55 dB (depending on capacity), compliant with strict urban environmental requirements.
Zero Maintenance – No oil checks, leak detection, or routine maintenance required—only periodic visual inspection and cleaning.
Low Loss & High Efficiency – Available in SCB10, SCB11, SCB13, and SCB18 series. An amorphous alloy core option reduces no-load loss by 30–50% compared to conventional silicon steel.
High Short-Circuit Strength – Rigid epoxy casting and advanced clamping structure ensure exceptional mechanical and dielectric strength.
Flexible Cooling – Natural air (AN) standard; forced air (AF) with integrated fans for higher overload capacity.
Customizable – Any vector group (Dyn11, Yyn0, etc.), tap changer (off-circuit), or enclosure rating (IP20 indoor, IP23 drip-proof, IP54 outdoor upon request).
Remote Monitoring – Optional temperature sensors (PT100) and digital display for winding temperature; RS485/Modbus communication available.
Ambient temperature: Maximum +40ºC Minimum -25ºC
Relative humidity: At 25ºC, not higher than 95% for daily average humidity and not higher than 90% for monthly average ambient temperature.
Altitude: Less than 1000 meters.
Seismic LeveL: Less than 3m/s2 at horizontal direction and less than 1.5m/s2 at vertical direction.
Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.
